The laborers' occupational values reflect the values of vocational selection.This research makes a comprehensive study on the status quo of the occupational values of the vocational college ethnic minorities students in Inner-Mongolia throughout the comparative research on characteristics and influencing factors of ethnic minority students.it hopes to make contributions to the following aspects: help the employment policy of the ethnic minorities be more perfect,help vocational college improve their occupational values education with specific purpose and help the ethnic minorities students achieve the person-vocation fit employment.The first chapter sorts out the literature on the employment,occupational values and vocational concept education and meanwhile expounds the research meaning and methods of the study.The second chapter explains the research process,uses SPSS software to analyze the survey questionnaire of the current status of vocational college students and finds that vocational college students pay attention to the needs of salary,communication and social contribution,which shows social characteristics.Meanwhile the research also makes a conclusion that the occupational values are different between the students of different genders and political outlooks,and there is no significant different occupational values between minority and Han students.The conclusion reflects the trend and process of national integration to some extent.The third chapter extracts the influencing factors of minority students' occupational values based on the research results,and analyzes the correlations among families,vocational colleges,and policies.The fourth chapter,based on the interview with the vocational guidance person in charge of vocational colleges and the company personnel clerks,puts forward proposals for training minority students to establish correct occupational values in terms of teachers,schools,and government.The fifth chapter summarizes the research results and proposes the research field which is need to be improved.This dissertation attaches great importance to empirical research methods,and comprehensively uses literature review,questionnaire survey and interview survey methods.The research had shown that: There were significant differences in the individual dimensions of vocational outlook among students of different gender,household registration and political status.The Han nationality had the best evaluation on education.However,different nationalities show consistency among the five dimensions of professional values,indicating the gradual convergence of nationalities.Family,vocational school training and policies have an impact on the vocational outlook of minority students,and the professional skills teaching has an especially significant impact on the vocational outlook.The cultivation of minority students' career outlook needs the cooperation of the school and the government.
