Today's era is the era of economic globalization and service internationalization,after China's accession to the WTO,the education industry as an important component of the service industry is developing rapidly.According to the relevant analysis reports,China's current education market has an unprecedented scale,there are more than one million education organizations now.In this context,the competition between educational institutions is increasingly fierce.How to gain a foothold in the fierce competition is the question that every educational institution needs to think about.New Oriental Education and Technology Group is one of the most representative international education industry,it is always been the focus of all enterprises since establishment.With the development of economy,New Oriental is also facing fierce competition,the market is constantly being divided from those who comes later,New Oriental's lead position is threatened by the internal management and external environment.At the same time,the rapid expansion of New Oriental lead to financial losses and the decline of the teaching quality and other serious problems,The reasons for these problems are the impact of the external environment and its own internal management problems,explore the causes of these problems can help New Oriental enhance the competitiveness.This paper is on the basic of the theory of enterprise competitiveness and the school competitiveness,combined with the external environment of the international educational institutions,this paper expounds the factors that affect the competitiveness of international educational institutions.According to the evaluation index on the enterprise and competitiveness evaluation index,this paper selected eleven well-known international education industries from domestic and overseas,combined with the characteristics of international educational institutions,constructing eighteen evaluation indexes of comparative to analysis and evaluation competitiveness.Using the factor analysis method to determine the evaluation index system of international educational institutions,and carries on the empirical analysis and test.The results of empirical analysis put forward five objective suggestions to further enhance the competitiveness,including expansion the scale reasonably,improve solvency and management ability,grasp the law of the development of the industry and continue to carry forward the spirit of entrepreneurship.
