With the coming of educational information age,multimedia courseware has become one of the most important teaching tools.To the effect of learning multimedia courseware,“interaction function” plays as an important role.So,the interactive multimedia courseware has gradually attracted people's attention.But at present,there are few researches on the interactive multimedia courseware,and the design methods have lots of space to improve.The thesis combines the situated cognitive theory with the metaphorical design methods,and the combination of the two is used in the research of the design methods of interactive multimedia courseware,which provides a new way for researching and applying the design methods of interactive multimedia courseware.At first,the thesis gives an analysis on the theories,such as situated cognitive theory,metaphorical design theory and interactive design theory.It also analyses the importance of situated cognition in the interactive multimedia courseware and the feasibility of applying metaphor to the design methods of situated courseware.Next,a basic research on the design of interactive multimedia courseware is given.It includes the classification of the interactive multimedia courseware according to the degree of interaction,which is divided into the basic,intermediate and advanced level.It also includes the establishment of a diagram of situated cognitive relationship of interactive multimedia courseware and the analysis of the influential factors of the situated cognition of it.The application of interactive multimedia courseware is discussed,and the actual experience and demand of the users are systematically collected by a mean of questionnaire.After that,the thesis gives a combined analysis of the interactive multimedia courseware,the cognitive learning theory and metaphorical design.The metaphorical design method of interactive multimedia courseware based on situated cognition is put forward,and model of describing the design process is constructed.Then,the design methods of the stage of situated design and the stage of the metaphorical design are analyzes deeply.In the situational design stage,the design method of situational structure,the story and structure,and the situational interest are put forward.In the metaphorical design stage,a metaphorical creative design method based on situated cognition is proposed,which provides interactive multimedia courseware a systematic method that could be operated and referenced.In the end,the design methods talking above are applied into practice,and the design of interactive multimedia courseware for Engineering Foundation is completed.The feasibility of the design methods is verified.
