From Disembeddding To Embedding:A Study Of Rural-Construction-Youth's Life Course

At the beginning of the 21~stt century,to revive the declining rural areas in the background of urbanization,industrialization and capitalization,the civil societylaunched the New-Rural-Construction-Movement(NRCM)whichwaswidelyengagedbythe Young-Students.The rural construction career practiced by the Rural-Construction-Youth more is considered to be frivolous and is still not fully recognized by the public in the present.The transition of the Young-Students into the Rural-Construction-Youth how to be possible and how to continue in a modern society where mainstream discourse is so powerful?This study adopt qualitative research method,attempts to view the theory of embeddedness and life course,focus on the transition and duration of roles,explore the origin and course of the Young-Students approach to the NRCM,the foundation and strategies of the Rural-Construction-Youth entering the NRCM,and the intrinsic motivation and external support of the Rural-Construction-Youth to continue their role.The study found that:In the context of the NRCM arose from the problems of agriculture,rural areas and farmers,the original emotion of countryside and positive reflection on life made the Young-Students touch the tentacles of the NRCM just like Agricultural-Community or Talent-Plan.Rural-Practice Theoretical-Training and other important Turning-Points,made the cumulative transition of the Young-Students'life trajectory.In the process of transition and continuity,the social expectations and the original social network had a certain hindrance,while the individual initiative and new social networks played a role of facilitation and support.To ensure continuity,the Rural-Construction-Youth will adopt the strategy of avoidance,pandering,simplification,communication and other active adjustment strategies in exchange for peaceful coexistence.At the same time,the connection with the original social network gradually weakened,and the communication appeared to shrink to a certain extent,while the connection with the new social network is gradually strengthened and in interpersonal processing it also forms a unique style of internal and external and moderate compromise.As a result,the Rural-Construction-Youth gradually completed the smooth transition from disembedding to embedding,in this process,new social network played a new safety net role,and played an important role in ensuring the duration of the Rural-Construction-Youth's role.At the same time,the new social network is embedded in the society,suchalayerofnestedrelationshipsallowsthedurationofthe Rural-Construction-Youth's role on a lager scale.
