At the time of the transition from the old to the new college entrance examination,"Hengshui High School Phenomenon" has became the focus of educational public opinion.It has attracted much attention and discussion.In essence,the paradox of this phenomenon is whether the efficient management is contrary to the needs of students' development.This study will discuss in depth the interaction between Hengshui High School's meticulous management and the needs of students' development from students' perspective.Meanwhile,the study will explain and reflect on its process and effect.This study focuses on students' personal experiences,to analysis the core issue of "How should schools' meticulous management really meet the needs of students' development".Specifically,it includes four sub-problems: What kind of meticulous management does Hengshui High School press on students? Under this management,what kind of development expectations,adaptation process and final developments do the students have? How do the students interpret their development expectations,adaptation processes and final developments? Starting from the needs of students' development,what does this management satisfy and what does it lack?This study adopts qualitative research method.Considering the needs of retrospect and reflection,it selected 15 graduates and one high school student to conduct in-depth interviews.And it also used the physical collection methods.In the data analysis,it mainly adopted the grounded theory coding method to gradually refine the theme,analyze in-depth,and draw conclusions.There are four main findings.First,Hengshui High School's meticulous management has four basic characteristics: precise calculation of time arrangement,detailed and strict monitoring of behavior,successive examination and continuous spiritual motivation.Second,there are three main forms of interaction between students and this management: habitual acceptance,active choice and forced change.Third,social reality and humanistic adjustment make the main line of interaction between students and this management be understanding and obedience.But it is accompanied by resistance and reflection.And the longer the graduation time is,the stronger the criticism is.Fourth,this management has its own rationality and limitations.It can meet students' self-realization needs of the college entrance examination and will sharpened,and the social needs of teachers' care.But it may ignore the physiological needs of their physical and mental health,affect the social needs of peer interaction,and inhibit the self-realization needs of personality development.Obviously,Hengshui High School's meticulous management can perfectly meet the utilitarian needs of students,which is the strong foundation of its existence.However,it violates the law of education development.If the school's meticulous management really meets the needs of students' development,it must avoid the potential risks of Hengshui High School.It should take students' development as the starting point,respect the laws of students' physical and mental development,create an environment conducive to peer interaction,and promote each student's self-realization.This is a long and difficult process of change that requires gradual progress.
