The Family-school partnership plays a very crucial part in the development of students.Teachers and parents, which are always improving and promoting each other, work together on the education of students.Meanwhile the reasonable division of labor between them is very important for this partnership. This paper analyzes the division of labor between teachers and parents from the view of role expectation, role awareness of them, based on the methodology of positivism. The research finds that teachers are inclined to hold a view that the role of parents should take equal responsibility in the education of students.Meanwhile parents of students also tend to hold the same view.It means that the idea of people has begun to change, and they no longer regard family education as a vassal of school education. However, the rapid change of educational ideology also result in blurred division of work, even the confrontation of teachers and parents. In the end of the paper, the author summarizes the current state of Family-school partnership, and gives some corresponding recommendations.
