This paper focuses on the investigation and study of the whole book reading teaching practice in the high school section of Ordos City,using the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,interviews and so on.According to the results of the investigation and combined with relevant theories,it puts forward pertinent suggestions and implementation strategies.The key problems of "why to read the whole book","what to read" and "how to read" have been solved.The core of the problem is to "curriculaize the whole book reading teaching".The curriculum system of reading the whole book in high school has been explored.The selected cases are based on teaching practice.They are very useful and practical for front-line teachers,and have theoretical and practical significance.More than 100 teachers and 300 students from five schools were selected as the subjects of the survey.Through questionnaires and interviews,the current situation of the teaching practice of "whole book reading" was sorted out.The whole book reading of senior high schools in the survey area is generally in the original state of lack of correct guidance and effective intervention.At present,the whole book reading activity is only the individual behavior of some schools,the individual behavior of excellent teachers,or the individual behavior of excellent students.However,the survey shows that the study area and similar areas have the conditions to carry out: teachers and students all think that the whole book reading is of great significance,and there is no doubt about this prerequisite;students have a strong interest in reading;teachers are willing to recommend books to students and provide guidance;all schools have opened reading classes;the vast majority ofteachers support the use of the classroom to carry out the whole book reading teaching;High school students have the basic ability to study independently;teachers and students have their own interest in the whole book reading activities.Some schools in the survey area have begun to explore and try,formed a preliminary teaching system,accumulated excellent cases,carried out teacher-student lectures,book-sharing meetings,theatrical exhibitions and other activities,and achieved good teaching results,and to a certain extent,reflected in excellent language performance,these pioneers can provide good practical reference.According to the research results,the author puts forward nine suggestions on the whole book reading around the "curricula" and demonstrates them with specific teaching cases,including the decomposition of teaching objectives,the recommendation of reading bibliographies,the form of classroom organization,the guidance of reading methods,the guidance of extracurricular assignments,the organization of student activities,the presentation of learning results,the teaching system and evaluation mechanism of three years in senior high school,etc.Key problem.The whole book reading teaching is of great significance.Senior high schools should actively and scientifically promote it.This paper puts forward four-step promotion suggestions: the whole book reading curriculum-teaching demonstration,promoting practice-comprehensive promotion-refining integration,forming experience.
