This is the first time that the whole book reading is put into practice in Chinese classroom teaching.In this reform,on the one hand,students' reading behavior and reading ability are standardized and strengthened.On the other hand,teachers are forced to change their previous concept of reading teaching and attach importance to the current whole book reading teaching.From the perspective of teachers,this paper analyses the problems in the whole book reading teaching and students' reading,and takes this as the starting point of study.Taking A Dream of Red Mansions as a case,this paper puts forward the path analysis of the whole book reading teaching.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part mainly explains the relevant concepts of the whole book reading teaching.This paper defines the concepts of "whole book","whole book reading" and "whole book reading teaching".The second part is to analyze the current problems and causes of the whole book reading teaching.This paper points out that the current problems of teachers in the whole book reading teaching are: teachers' reading methods guidance generalization,lack of pertinence;lack of monitoring and guidance of the reading process;lack of depth and integration of teaching content;single teaching methods,single class type;lack of evaluation of students' whole book reading after teaching and so on.There are some problems in reading the whole book: insufficient interest in reading,less reading;improper reading methods,superficial reading;lack of planning,good reading habits;single reading type,lack of diversity and so on.Then it analyses the causes of the problems of teachers and students from both subjective and objective aspects.The third part,taking the whole book of A Dream of Red Mansions as a concrete example,puts forward the path analysis of solving the problems of teachers and students,which is mainly divided into four stages: reading guidance,promoting,exploring and evaluating.In the stage of reading guidance,the problems of generalization of teacher's guidance,insufficient interest in reading,improper reading methods and poor understanding are mainly solved.Interest guidance,method guidance and ability guidance are put forward.In the promotion stage,teachers lack of monitoring and guidance in the reading process,students delay in reading and lack of planning,etc.This paper proposes to create a reading task list to urge students toread,then check students' reading situation,and finally explain the problems in students' reading.In the exploratory stage,we mainly solve the problems of scattered teaching content and lack of integration;single teaching method and class type;superficial reading of students,and put forward that teachers should dig deeply into the connotation of A Dream of Red Mansions,determine teaching value and research theme;analyze students' reading of A Dream of Red Mansions from multiple perspectives to determine teaching methods;carry out various forms of teaching activities around Teaching themes.In the evaluation stage,aiming at the problem that teachers do not know how to evaluate the whole book reading,this paper puts forward the principles of diversity evaluation in teaching evaluation,and chooses the evaluation methods based on the principles,including observation method and reading portfolio method.
