The general technology course in senior high school is a discipline which can cultivate students' technical consciousness,engineering thinking,innovation design,graphical representation and materialization ability,with emphasis on the cultivation of students' technical accomplishment.In the theme of "Scientific and technological Humanities Integration and Innovation",it is proposed that the knowledge,methods and skills of science,technology,engineering,art,mathematics,and society(STEAMS education)should be integrated based on the real problem situation.Problem solving and scientific and technological innovation in the form of thematic learning or project learning.STEAM education,originated in the United States,is an integrated education of science,technology,engineering,arts and mathematics,which aims to integrate multi-field knowledge through the integrated curriculum and give full play to the function of comprehensive education.Let students apply multidisciplinary knowledge in project-based activities to solve problems.It can be seen that the content of STEAM education and related curriculum objectives are covered in the general technical curriculum of our country,and these two similar courses are carried out independently in practice,both of which are biased towards craftsmanship and craftsmanship learning.Combining with students' knowledge of science is very little,it needs to occupy a large number of class hours,repeated construction of the laboratory,introduction of professional guidance teachers,improve the economic cost of curriculum implementation.One control class carries out the practical activities suggested in the general technology curriculum objectivesof high school,such as housing,bridge and so on,while the other control class only accepts the theoretical knowledge of ?and ? required courses in senior high school general technology,and does not organize students to participate in the production activities.The author thinks that the making process of physics experiment apparatus is the process of students' understanding and flexible application of relevant physics knowledge.Through the course design,the process can also realize the cultivation of students' core literacy of general technology discipline at the same time.And achieve STEAM comprehensive education,multidimensional teaching purpose based on project learning.The purpose of this study is to explore the development of STEAM education in the course of general technology,combined with the manufacture of physical experimental apparatus,which is based on the "electrostatic generator" project.The feasibility of the activity and the related curriculum objectives are achieved.In the practical research,three science classes in the second year of senior high school were selected as the object of study.After studying the concept of static electricity in the physics class,the students in the three classes took a pretest.According to the analysis of the pretest results,it is found that there is no significant difference in the understanding of electrostatic concepts among the students in the three classes.Three classes were selected to carry out practical research,two classes as control class,one class as experimental class,the experimental class to carry out electrostatic motor production project under the guidance of STEAM education concept in general technical class.The short-term practice shows that the high school general technology class combined with the production of physics equipment to carry out the STEAM education practice,can deepen the students to physics elective 3 ~ 1electrostatic field related concepts understanding and memory,help to promote the students' in-depth study of the physical essence,to promote the integration of the general technical courses and the STEAM education,and to create the active carrier for the general technical course.
