This paper takes Ordos as an example to study the application of Ordos' s local history resources in the history teaching of junior high school.Ordos has a long history and has always been a settlement of different nationalities.From the pre-Qin Dynasty,each period has left its unique historical relics and historical culture.Use these rich local history resources to supplement the content of the textbook "Chinese History" compiled by the Ministry of Education,and add highlights to history teaching.This paper will use literature analysis,case analysis and comparative research methods to classify the collected Ordos local history curriculum resources into four categories: text resources,cultural relics resources,oral history resources and network resources.Under the guidance of the selection principles of teaching objectives,integration of teaching content,diversification of teaching forms,and teaching students in accordance with their aptitudes,we will sort out the Ordos local history curriculum resources linked with the Ministry of Education's edition of "Chinese History".The appropriate content will be linked to the contents of the four textbooks of the seventh and eighth grades of the department,and give corresponding suggestions for teaching activities.In order to further clarify how Ordos local history resources are applied to junior high school history teaching,specific teaching cases are designed,including classroom teaching and extracurricular activities.Among them,the application in classroom teaching is mainly in the form of introducing new lessons,teaching new chapters and after-school summary.In the extracurricular activities,the application of field trips,organization of knowledge contests,speech contests,storytelling,and local history inquiry activities are the main forms.Through research,the suggestions for applying the resources of local history in history teaching are given.Firstly,it is necessary to follow the curriculum standards of compulsory education history.Secondly,we should emphasize the subjective status of students.Thirdly,we must pay attention to the authenticity of resources of local history.Finally,the use of local history resources should be timely and appropriate.
