As a multi-ethnic country,China's national music culture has always been a splendid treasure of the Chinese nation.But in the age of the Internet,Western culture is recklessly imported into China,which brings great threat to our national music culture.At home,the "fast food" pop music culture has also shaken the status of national music culture.Under such a large social background,it has become an urgent problem to be solved that how to make the national music culture return to the main stream.“The long-range program,education centered”.As the frontline of cultural heritage,school education should pay more attention to the education of national music culture.The purpose of this paper is to investigate the Saihan District ethnic Middle School in Hohhot City.First of all,this paper makes a realistic reflection on the education and teaching of the school.Secondly,through the present situation of the music classroom of Saihan District ethnic Middle School in Hohhot City,this paper analyzes the present situation of Mongolian music culture education in our district middle school from point to side.From the present situation,this paper analyzes the advantages of the school in the teaching of Mongolian music culture,as well as the problems.It is hoped that through case studies,the paper will provide an example for exploring the teaching path of Mongolian music culture education applicable to the application of middle school in Hohhot City.In view of the problems found in the teaching inquiry of the school,it is possible to carry out the classroom similar to the Mongolian music teaching in other middle schools in Hohhot for reference.The article is made up of four parts.The first part mainly expounds the relevant concept definition and the significance of national music teaching.The second part,through the investigation,this part mainly expounds thepresent situation of the national music teaching in the Saihan District National Middle School of Hohhot.It tries the best to show the teaching characteristics of the school and the national music culture in the teaching.Based on the interview and questionnaire survey of the case school,the third part starts from the actual data through the results of the questionnaire to objectively show the school from the leadership to the students ' views on the teaching of national music and teaching results.From four aspects of environment,teachers,students and teaching materials,the forth part finds many problems and coping strategies in teaching in three dimensions.It seeks to propose solutions that can be solved by school digestion and are highly feasible and easy to operate.It is hoped to take this opportunity to study the methods that can be popularized in the middle schools of our district to inherit and develop the national music culture with regional characteristics.Through the investigation and analysis of the case schools,the conclusion is drawn: School education is undoubtedly the best way to inherit the national music culture.It is essential that reform the school education in order to achieve the goal of national music culture inheritance,which needs to solve the "sub-lesson" status of music from the fundamental,change the training mode and teaching mode of teachers so that national music is fully integrated into daily teaching,change students ' attitudes and views on national music,make students take the initiative to accept the national music teaching.
