In order to further improve the cause of education in China,alleviate the shortage of teachers in the remote areas of the central and western regions,and promote the balanced development of compulsory education,in 2006,the Ministry of Education,the Ministry of Finance,the Ministry of Personnel and the Central Organization jointly issued a Notice on Implementing the Special Post Plan for School Teachers in the Stage of Compulsory Education in Rural Areas,and openly recruiting college graduates to teach in the township primary and secondary schools in the ‘two bases’ of the central and western regions of China.The special post teacher is a temporary informal teacher group in the rural school.What kinds of occupational life situation do they have? what kinds of ways to improve their occupational life? what kinds of sentiment after the expiration of the special post service? Caring and paying attention to the occupational life of special post teachers can improve the quality of education and the overall quality of the teaching staff in rural areas of China.This study mainly adopts qualitative research methods.The five special post teachers in T County of Guangxi District are selected as the research objects,and the status of their occupational life is analyzed.The study found that the five special post teachers in T County are trivial and complicated in their daily teaching work,with a simple working environment and insufficient learning resources.Specifically,They feel helpless about daily life,simple living conditions,the embarrassing situation of the school’s rural culture,and extra overtime work.The unsatisfaction of daily work and life has affected the professional life of the five special post teachers.The author also analyzes the career paths of the five special post teachers.Although the five special post teachers have the opportunity to be present,they are confused.In the aspect of independent study,the responsibility and love of the students encourage them to actively learn and therefore to improve themselves.In the outing training,they can learn and broaden their horizons with more colleagues,but there are fewer opportunities for their outing training;in network training,tasks and promotion urge them to continue learning.In addition,the author analyzes the selection,ambition and review of the professional life of five special post teachers in T County,and finds that the five special post teachers are the recognition of teachers’ occupation because of their love for students and the stability of teachers’ work.After the expiration of the special post service,the choices continue to take root in rural education,urban development,civil servants,etc.,hoping that he can be a happy teacher,fulfil the responsibility of the perpetrator,and review the three years.It is also moving and helpless.Based on the above analysis,in order to further improve the occupational life consciousness of the special post teachers,the author mainly puts forward suggestions from three levels: policy,school and special post teachers.It is hoped that the state can improve the policy system for the professional life of the special post teachers,and call on the society to give more attention to the special post teachers.The school need to build a more reasonable institutional environment,deepen the humane care and form a good learning community.The special post teachers can correctly position the ‘everyone.’ With the ‘small family’,inspire people’s subjective initiative,reflect in the practice of education and teaching.
