The research on teaching life of teachers in special position is required by the background of balanceddevelopment of education and the improving.quality.of rural teachers.The quality of teaching life ofteachers in special position not only has direct effect on the implementation of special-post program and thequality of rural teachers’ construction but also affects the balance of education development.Promoting thespecial-post program,strengthening their subjective idea,establishing a professional ideals and so on, theyare the necessary approaches to improve the quality of teachers’ life.This paper selects13cities in Henan province as the investigation object,such as Luoyang,Nanyang,Xinxiang,Zhoukou,Anyang,Puyang and so on.Then interviews9teachers in special position fromJiaozuo,Anyang,Nanyang,Zhoukou,Puyang.From the questionnaires and interview,I know teachers’teaching life and related information.The combined method is helpful to the study.Based on the method of literature and investigation,this paper mainly studies teaching life of teachersin rural compulsory education of Henan province.On the basis of existing literatures, this paper defines theconcept of teaching life firstly,then interprets the connotation of teaching life from its purpose,value andessence,and analyzes the particularity of teachers in special position and their teaching life.Based on thequestionnaires and interview,the paper is going to have a comprehensive survey on the current situation ofteacher’s teaching life,and reveals some problems in teaching life of teachers in special position,such aslife unawareness,deviation of subjectivity,autonomy constrained,the loss of character.For the above issues,there are several reasons to interpret, for example, the restriction of traditional value of teachers in specialposition,the hierarchical education system,living conditions and culture atmosphere in school,theimplementation of the special-post program.The following aspects are the constructive suggestions.Thefirst aspect is to change exterior conditions of teaching life,such as effectively promote the special-postprogram,improve social culture surrounding and social system environment,improve living conditions andpromote culture atmosphere in school.Then the second aspect is teachers’ inner changes,such as changetheir traditional value,strengthen their subjective idea,raise the ability of teaching life.Paying attention to teaching life of teachers in special position is not only beneficial for the development of teachers in special position,but also for the implementation of the special-post program,andbalanced development of education should concern about teaching life of teachers in special position.Educators and people from all walks of life should concern and improve teachers’ teaching life and thespecial-post program continually.
