Learning motivation plays an important role in the process of second language learning,especially for primary school students.How to cultivate and strengthen the motivation of primary school students' Chinese learning is still a problem that needs to be discussed and solved.On the basis of previous studies,this paper,through questionnaires,individual interviews and other method,combined with the author's own actual teaching experience,carried out a more comprehensive and detailed study of the Chinese learning motivation of Raon Elementary School students in Naju,South Korea.Analyzing and proposing the corresponding incentive measures.Through ExploratoryFactorAnalysis(EFA),this paper divides the motivation of Chinese learning in Raon Elementary School into four categories: interest,achievement,instrumentality and learning situation.Among them,the intensity of interest motivation is the highest,followed by instrumental motivation and learning situational motivation and there is no significant difference in intensity between this two.Besides,the weakest is the achievement motivation.Combined with the interview information analysis,the students' learning motivation is characterized by complexity and dynamics.The learners gradually change to the above four types of motivations,and most students have more than one type of motivation.Teachers play an important role among them.This paper analyzes the factors that may affect the motivation of Chinese students in Raon Elementary School from four aspects: students(gender,age),teachers,teaching,and others(family,school,peer,and society).On this basis,this article is guided by the theory of cognitive motivation,emphasizing that teachers should “inspire students' achievements”,“guide good value orientation ”,“use reasonable incentives ”,and “establish a good teacher-student relationship ”.Starting at four angles,the corresponding strategies are used to enhance and stimulate the motivation of primary school students' Chinese learning,and to improve their learning efficiency,so that their Chinese second language learning activities are more effective.
