Research On The Optimization Of Students Affairs Administration Mode In Colleges And Universities Under The View Of Collaborative Governance Theory

Student affairs administration is one of the important contents of university governance,and it is the premise and foundation for pushing on other work.Since 21 st century,with the wide application of collaborative governance theory in various fields,many colleges and universities started changing educational management ideas and taking the satisfaction of students' development needs and growth as a starting point and foothold.They emphasized the student-centered as their educational idea.They hoped college students could become one of important governance subjects of college student affairs administration,then promoted the scientific and efficient management of student affairs administration mode.However,with the development of technology and society,there were many changes among students' self-management ability,character characteristics,and development needs.The current student affairs administration mode in colleges and universities has many inadaptabilities to the current challenges.Based on the collaborative governance theory,collge student affairs administration mode requires college students to attach equal importance to the identity of the governance subject and the governance object.Therefore,collaborative governance theory is introduced to form a multi-central co-operative governance mode,which not only provides a new perspective on the student affairs administration,but also supports to optimize current student administration mode.Based on the collaborative governance theory,following the research idea-sollen condition of theoretical research,actual condition of empirical investigation,comparasion analyses of problems and causes,and countermeasures proposition,taking management idea,organization,management programs and administrator subjects into consideration,this research dissertation begins with development demands and characteristics of college students nowadays,summarizing past and current student affairs administration modes by methods of literature analysis,history study,summary,empirical investigation.Through analyzing student affairs administration questionnaires,some problems can be found,for example,low levels of college students' involvement,low quality of the governance subjects,and low interactive efficiency of student affairs administration subjects.These causes include relatively backward governance ideas,unsound management mechanism,imperfect institutional safeguards.Lastly,from the perspective of governance ideas,optimization principle,institutional safeguards and operation mechanisms,based on professional norms,coordination and high-effiency,and negotiated interaction,this paper puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing current student administration mode under the guidance of collaborative governance theory.
