It is generally believed that economic and social development will also reduce health inequalities while improving health. However, empirical research on developed countries shows that the socially advantageous class has obtained more “ health benefits ” from development, and economic development has not alleviated health inequalities. With the establishment of a broad consensus on health inequalities, health inequalities have become an important area for scholars to discuss in the field of social stratification and social inequality.Based on the data of health inequality and based on the data of “Beijing College Student Panel Survey”,this paper mainly analyzes the influence of family background and general self-efficacy on college students’ health inequality, and attempts to explore the general self-efficacy affecting college students’ health in family background. The role played by inequality. This study mainly attempts to explore the following questions: First,it analyzes the influencing factors of college students’ health inequality, including four indicators to measure the family background of college students: type of household registration, type of family residence,self-evaluation of family economic status,self-evaluation of family comprehensive social status The impact on health inequality, whether there is inequality in the health status of college students in China;the second is to analyze the influencing factors of general self-efficacy,and whether there are health differences among college students with different self-efficacy;the third is to explore the general self-efficacy of college students Whether it is an intermediate mechanism affecting health inequality, constructing the influence path between college students’ family background factors, general self-efficacy and health inequality, that is,analyzing whether college students’ family background factors influence general self-efficacy and further affect collegestudents’ Health inequality. This study draws the following conclusions by establishing a linear regression model,a logistic regression model, and a bootstrap analysis method for testing the mediating effects: 1)There are inequalities in the health status of college students, but the family background factors affecting their inequality vary with the selected health indicators.Different;2)family background factors affect the general self-efficacy of college students;3)the impact of general self-efficacy of college students on the health of college students is partially confirmed, and this effect is a significant positive effect;4)the mediating effect of general self-efficacy Part of the proof, and an important complement to the existing research, showing people a more complete mechanism of affecting health inequality: college students’ general self-efficacy as a mediator variable,is one of the health mechanisms.
