Solving problems is not only an important way for students to master basic knowledge of mathematics and improve basic skills,but also an effective way to test students' mathematics learning results.Therefore,In the high school mathematics learning process,the ability to solve problems in mathematics is a must-have ability.But in fact,students ' ability to solve problems in mathematics is not high.Therefore,It is of great practical significance to explore and study how to cultivate students' ability of mathematical problem solving.With the help of Literature review and questionnaire survey,This paper first expounds the background and significance of the research,explains the importance of the research,and makes a literature review of the current research situation at home and abroad;Secondly,through reading and analyzing a large number of related literatures,the related concepts of mathematical problem-solving ability are defined,and several important theories of guiding research are expounded.Thirdly,it investigates the current situation of high school students' ability to solve problems in mathematics,sorts out and analyzes the relevant data of questionnaires,understands the problems existing in the process of students' problem solving,and analyzes the reasons that lead to students' low ability to solve mathematics problems:The awareness of the examination is not strong,the basic knowledge is not solid,the computing ability is low,the mathematical thinking method is not flexible,the problem solving is not standardized,and the question is not reflected.For these reasons,with the guidance of relevant theories,the strategies for cultivating students' ability to solve problems in mathematics are proposed,which are:improving the ability of examining questions and laying the foundation for solving problems;learning basic knowledge and mastering problem-solving weapons;Practicing computing skills and strengthening the basic skills of solving problems;Comprehend the mathematics thoughts and understand the problem solving method;supervise andpromote the problem-solving norms,improve the quality of problem-solving;Finally,the conclusion and reflection of the research are given.Starting from the actual situation,this paper puts forward a concrete and operable strategy for cultivating students ' ability of solving mathematical problems,and applied it to teaching practice,and achieved certain results,which will be of positive significance to promote students ' learning and improve teachers ' teaching.
