Growth Group Involvement In Social Worker Professional Ability Improvement Research

Under the background of the big policy of precise poverty alleviation,China is moving faster and faster from building a well-off society in an all-round way.There are many people on the road to a well-off society,especially the poor masses.In order to satisfy the yearning for a better life for the five-guarantee elderly in remote rural areas of Wuhan,the Wuhan Bureau of Civil Affairs has launched the project of "one hospital and one social worker" in 74 rural welfare homes in the city,aiming at letting social workers enter the rural welfare homes,providing professional social work services for the five-guarantee elderly in the hospitals,and enhancing the happiness of life in the hospitals.As the supervisor of social work projects in six rural welfare homes in J District of Wuhan City,the author found that in the early stage of the project,due to the difficult conditions of rural welfare homes,the mobility of social workers is relatively high,and the service is often fractured.After consultation with the District Civil Affairs Bureau,the social work institutions reduce the turnover rate by recruiting local social workers,but they are faced with the low professional level of local social workers and professional energy.The problem of insufficient strength leads to the dissatisfaction of the hospital and the elderly with the social work service.Based on this situation,the author jointly organized a social worker Professional Competence Promotion Group for six rural welfare homes,aiming at providing professional training for the program planning,communication,activity leadership and resource link integration capabilities necessary for social worker services in rural welfare homes.The whole training and learning is carried out in a group way,once a week in each welfare institution.First,because each rural welfare institution is relatively far away,choosing the form of group work to carry out is more practical,which can strengthen the links between members;second,because each welfare institution carries out once,can let members better see the situation of each welfare institution,experience people in the situation;third,once a week is carried out to enable members to better absorb and digest the contents of the group in the hospital.Can have time to carry out the actual operation in the hospital.Using the theory of energy enhancement throughout the group activities,through theoretical guidance of practice,in this group activities,fully mobilized the enthusiasm of team members to participate in activities,tapped the inherent potential,enhanced self-confidence,and grasped the four essential professional abilities to carry out services.This group activity has certain operability and reproducibility.On the one hand,it can cultivate local social workers in rural areas,and on the other hand,it can promote the improvement of social workers' service quality to meet the needs of the clients.
