The Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)has been promulgated and implemented.The four basic concepts of the curriculum are all centered on the Geographical key competencies.It is obvious that the cultivation of Geographical key competencies has become the basic foothold of the new geography curriculum in senior high school.AS the carrier of curriculum reform,the breadth and depth of geography textbooks have a profound impact on the achievement of teaching objectives.As one of the contents of textbooks,the high-quality application of the "activities" column will be more conducive to the formation of students' Geographical key competencies.Therefore,to optimize the "activities" column of the textbook is very important for enriching the content of geography textbook and giving full play to its function;promoting teachers' thinking and Practice on the new curriculum standard and the "activities" column of the textbook;cultivating students' Geographical key competencies.This paper takes the compulsory high school geography course of Hunan Educational Press I "Activities" as the research object,Firstly,it elaborates the background and significance of the research,grasps the current research progress through literature research method,and summarizes the research methods.Then,this paper makes an in-depth study of the "activities" column,and analyses the number,type and design characteristics of the "activities" column through qualitative and quantitative analysis,case studies and other methods.Then,we carry out a survey of the current situation of teaching and learning in the "activities" column and draw a conclusion.through case study and literature study,the optimization principle of content design of "activity" column based on geographic core literacy is put forward,including the selection principle of material and the design principle of "activity" problem.In order to optimize the content design of the "activities" column,this paper puts forward six aspects: enhancing timeliness and effectiveness;increasing interest;diversifying the cultivation of students' core geographic literacy;making up for the lack of textbook examination point knowledge;constructing the geography in life;perfecting the guidance of practical methods.Finally,based on the core geographic literacy,this paper puts forward the optimization strategies for teachers,which mainly include strengthening the training of new curriculum standards to improve the theoretical and practical level of teachers;paying attention to the cultivation of geographic practical ability;changing ideas and diversifying teaching methods;formulating the teaching objectives of "activities" column according to learning conditions;optimizing evaluation methods to promote students' literacy,in order to give full play to column training,The function of students' core geographic literacy.And through the action research method,the optimization case is put into the teaching practice to observe and analyze,in order to further enrich and improve the optimization research of the "activities" column,which has strong practical operability.It has a certain reference significance for the current high school geography teaching practice,and provides a reference for the follow-up teachers to optimize the "activities" column.
