The people's education press organized geography experts to compile the senior high school geography textbook of new education press in accordance with the textbook compilation suggestions in the general senior high school geography curriculum standard(2017 Edition),aiming at cultivating the core literacy of geography,and published it in September 2019.With the implementation of the new college entrance examination policy across the country,the 2019 PEP senior high school geography textbook will also be used nationwide.Compulsory 1 and compulsory 2 are the top priority of senior high school geography textbooks published by the people's education press of 2019.The function of "activity" column in the textbooks is also revised to cultivate students' geographical core literacy.Therefore,the study of "activity" column in senior high school geography compulsory textbooks published by the people's education press of 2019 has important reference significance for teaching practice.In this paper,2019 PEP senior high school geography compulsory textbooks as the research object,through the research of "activity teaching" at home and abroad and the "activity" column in geography textbooks,the research content and writing ideas of this paper are clear.This paper includes the following five main parts.The first part describes the research background,theoretical and practical significance of this paper.This paper summarizes the main literature of "activity teaching" and "activity" column in geography textbooks at home and abroad,and textbook 1 and compulsory textbook 2 published by the people's Education Press of 2019 in September),and the concept of "activity" column(refers to the senior high school geography textbook of the people's education press of2019 marked with blue "activity" font,which is composed of theme,activity and activity)This paper mainly uses the theories of pedagogy and psychology as the theoretical basis,in which the theories of pedagogy are Bruner's constructivism theory,Dewey's activity teaching theory,and the theories of psychology are Vygotsky's recent development zone theory and garmezzo's senior psychology theory.The third part: analysis of 2019 PEP senior high school geography compulsory textbook "activities" column.It is mainly carried out from four aspects: the first aspect is to analyze the number and location distribution of "activities" columns;the second aspect is to analyze the different requirements of "activities" columns for students,and divide them into three categories: practical operation,communication and discussion,and material analysis,and subdivide the practical operation into two categories: drawing,filling and calculation,and field investigation and investigation Material analysis is divided into four sub types: graphic analysis,table text analysis,chart analysis and text analysis.The third aspect is to analyze the "activity" column based on geographical core literacy,which mainly analyzes the geographical core literacy contained in the specific problems in the "activity" column and the difficulty of the specific problems in the "activity" column according to the four levels of geographical core literacy.The fourth part: Based on the research of the above-mentioned relevant literature and the analysis of the "activity" column in the senior high school geography compulsory textbook of the people's education press of 2019,it mainly expounds the application strategies of the "activity" column from three aspects:first,it expounds that the application design of the "activity" column in the teaching process should conform to the four principles of discipline,science,interest and development;second,it is designed in turn
