The 2011 Music Curriculum Standards for Nine-Year Compulsory Education clearly points out that it is one of the basic concepts of music education that “take aesthetics as the core ".In the music curriculum," To feel and to appreciate” is regarded as an effective way to cultivate students' music aesthetic ability and it is also a significant field of music learning.Music appreciation is the core of music education in junior high school,from which we can be aware of the importance of it.Nowadays,there exist many unreasonable parts in the teaching practice of music appreciation in junior high school,which need to be adjusted and updated.Based on the students' current situations,more reasonable and effective teaching methods should be explored to stimulate students' passions for study and improve the listening efficiency of music.All of these measures will be able to improve their perceived capacity of music.Guided by the new curriculum standards,this paper adopts some research methods,such as Literature analysis and Observation,elaborating the abundant connotation of the teaching content of music appreciation course in junior high school through sorting and analysis.This paper discusses,analyzes and summarizes the existing problems of teaching methods in the teaching practice of music appreciation in junior middle school.The first chapter summarizes the problems and significance of the research in the current junior middle school music appreciation course under the background of the new curriculum standards,and expounds the research status of junior middle school music appreciation course either in China and in the other countries.The second chapter,based on the new curriculum standards,interprets the concept of music course and summarizes the content and requirements of music appreciation course in junior and middle schools.The third chapter analyzes the music textbook of junior middle school in Hunan education edition,demonstrating the analysis results from five dimensions.Chapter four studies and analyzes the current implementation of music appreciation curriculum in junior high school,summarizes its deficiencies,and puts forward the corresponding teaching methods.
