The textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education have been tried out in some areas since 2016;the textbooks compiled by the Ministry will be used uniformly in most parts of the country in 2017;and the textbooks compiled by the Ministry will be used nationwide in 2018.This set of textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education,which calls for thousands of calls,embodies the collective wisdom of more than 60 people,including experts in various disciplines,writers,poets,excellent teachers and researchers,as well as editors in the language rooms and small language rooms of the PEC.The emergence of textbooks compiled by the Ministry marks the end of the era of "one outline and many textbooks".For the first grade children enrolled in 2016,the new textbooks are brand-new,reflecting the will of the country.The textbooks compiled by the Ministry can be regarded as a great change of blood compared with the original textbooks which have been used for more than ten years.40% of the contents of the whole set of textbooks have been replaced.The textbooks have been greatly adjusted from the aspects of plate type,text selection,unit structure and after-class exercises,which embodies the six consciousness of national consciousness,goal consciousness,style consciousness,reading consciousness,subject consciousness and scientific research consciousness.The use of new textbooks is undoubtedly a great test for teachers who are struggling on the front line of teaching.The use of textbooks and the students' acceptance of textbooks are also a great test for the compiled textbooks themselves,which are expected by all.Through the comparative study of the textbooks compiled by the Ministry and those edited by the People's Educational Press,this paper analyses the similarities and differences between the old and the new textbooks,and analyses the use of the new textbooks through the methods of investigation and interview,so as to better understand the purpose of compiling the new textbooks and provide reference for the future use of textbooks and the revision of textbooks.This paper mainly includes four chapters,comparing new and old textbooks from different perspectives,supplementing the evaluation of the textbooks of the People's Edition,and further studying the new textbooks.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly includes four parts: the proposition of the problem,the purpose and significance of the study,the research situation at home and abroad,the theoretical basis and research methods of the study.Chapter 2 investigates the use of the textbook selection system of the Ministry Edition and the original Educational Press,including the analysis of the students' use of the Educational Press before 2016 and the analysis of the students' use of the Educational Press after 2016.Use data to illustrate the actual use of new and old textbooks.Chapter ? briefly describes the background,the role and value of the times,and the similarities and differences between the new and old textbooks.This paper makes a concrete comparative analysis of the new and old editions of textbook selection system from the aspects of textbook selection system arrangement,illustration configuration,number and length of text selection system,time and space span of text selection,genre selection,theme selection,female image in text selection,country of origin and so on.Detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the two editions of textbooks,as well as the absorption and improvement of the old textbooks by the new textbooks.Chapter ? makes a comprehensive evaluation of the textbooks compiled by the Ministry,lists the characteristics of the textbooks compiled by the Ministry,and puts forward some suggestions on the use of the textbooks according to the characteristics of the textbooks,so as to make better use of the textbooks to carry out teaching activities and achieve teaching objectives.
