With the development and progress of the economy and society,the spiritual and cultural needs of the public have increased significantly,and the requirements for art and aesthetics have also increased day by day.In this context,primary and secondary chorus is rising and developing vigorously.In basic education,chorus in primary and secondary schools,as a part of music education,is of great significance to improve students' comprehensive music literacy and enhance students' aesthetic ability,so it has attracted much attention and recognition from all walks of life.In the documents issued by the Ministry of Education,the importance and necessity of chorus in primary and secondary schools have been emphasized many times,pointing out that it is the general trend to deepen the chorus in music teaching under the background of the new curriculum reform.At the call of the competent department of national education,primary and secondary schools around the country responded positively,and successively formed choirs of different sizes,vigorously carried out and participated in relevant chorus activities.With the unremitting efforts of many chorus experts and music teachers,the art of chorus in primary and secondary schools has developed vigorously,resulting in many excellent chorus teams.While enriching and expanding the domestic chorus art forest,they have also begun to emerge on the International Chorus stage and become a new force of chorus in China.Ethnic minority areas are rich in music resources,so they have unique conditions for the development of chorus career.However,restricted by such factors as insufficient ideological awareness,lagging economic development and weak support,chorus art still faces difficulties in minority areas.The marginalization of music education in some minority areas not only limits and hinders the development of chorus level,but also seriously affects and lags behind the improvement of the comprehensive quality of primary and secondary school students.Based on this,it is necessary to explore the current situation of chorus in ethnic minority areas comprehensively,analyze the existing problems and shortcomings from multiple levels and angles,and put forward practical development strategies of chorus in combination with the reality of ethnic minority areas,so as to promote the vigorous growth of chorus art.Based on this,this paper takes Xinzhou Town,Huangping County,Guizhou Province,as an example,chooses relevant personnel as the specific research object,combines literature review,questionnaire survey,data analysis and other research methods,examines and evaluates the current situation of chorus development in this area,and then explores the shackles and obstacles of chorus development in minority areas,and explores specific ways of development.? It is hoped that through this study,it will provide a feasible reference for promoting the development of chorus art in ethnic minorities and even more far-reaching areas,and comprehensively improving students' aesthetic ability and music literacy.
