| With the rapid development of computer technology, modern communication technology and network technology, the human beings have develop the information technology and utilized the information resources to promote the social and economic progress, which marked beginning of the transformation from industrialized society into information society. Nowadays, the amount of knowledge and information increases rapidly; information carriers are combined with multimedia; information retrieval are modernized; information resources are networked. These knowledge and information have become important strategic resources in economic construction and represented the latest productivity. Information products and services play a dominant role in national economy. The society requires lots of "informationers" to be cultivated, which puts forward the higher requirements of information literacy to the teachers.At present, researches on information literacy education are very hot. The author conducted an investigation on it by retrieving the literatures with keywords of "information literacy" and "information quality" between 1993 and 2008 in Wanfang Periodical Database, the findings are 1361 and 1947 individually. But the results of the further retrieval are 0 and 2 individually with the keyword "Guizhou". Most articles targeted the students including those in middle schools and in universities and there is only 1 article concerning about the curriculum of literature retrieval in information literacy education of college students in minority areas of Guizhou. That is to say, the current researches have not been fully conducted in details and in depths. It is well known that information literacy is a concept with multi-levels and wider meanings so there can't and shouldn't be the same requirements of information literacy for various groups. For those in different areas and with different education levels, their information literacy has individual characteristics, meanings and evaluation criteria. Therefore, the author holds information literacy education should not be conducted with the same contents and patterns but the way of dividing and educating.Consequently, different from those researches on information literacy education about "college students", "middle school students" and "domestic", this paper focused on the students of teachers colleges in minority areas of Guizhou, discussed the information literacy education of the special group and related problems in details and in depths. First, the author started with a lot of literature, and deeply analyzed the concepts related to information literacy education, the present research situations home and abroad and the necessities of information literacy education of students of teachers colleges in minority areas of Guizhou. As followed, the author put forward some advises on information literacy education in teachers colleges in minority areas of Guizhou by investigating and analyzing the existing problems of information literacy education of students of teachers colleges in minority areas of Guizhou. |
