This study examined the mental health status of filing riser senior secondary students within the Greenspoon and Sakflofske's dual-factor model of mental health.Participants included 520 senior secondary students(128 filing riser senior secondary students,392 non-filing riser senior secondary students).To assess the stability of group membership,participants were reclassified according to DFM status 2 times.(1)The distribution of four types of mental health of filing riser senior secondary students and non-filing riser senior secondary students in rural junior middle schools is similar to the domestic and foreign research data,and the proportion of the total mental health is the highest.The dual-factor model of mental health is suitable for the special group of filing riser senior secondary students.(2)The stability of middle school students in the four mental health groups is different.The stability of the complete mental health group is the highest.The stability of the symptomatic group and the disease group is lower than that of the satisfaction group,and the stability of the susceptible group is the lowest.(3)Positive emotions,negative emotions,depression,interpersonal relationships,and punishments have a significant effect on predicting the development of the filing riser senior secondary students.Life satisfaction,positive emotions,negative emotions,depression and anxiety have a significant effect on predicting the development of the filing riser senior secondary students.(4)There are some differences in mental health status between the filing riser senior secondary students and non-filing riser senior secondary students.
