Under the background of the reform of the new examination enrollment system in Beijing,the selection methods of middle school students in Beijing have become more diversified and integrated.They can choose the subjects for the exam independently,but the time for the exam preparation is also advanced.In addition,with the country's advocacy of career education,many scholars have combined career education with the current complex and changing environment,and began to pay attention to the cultivation of students' career adaptability.In order to understand the relevant situation of the middle school students' career adaptability better in Beijing,in the context of the reform of the college entrance examination,in this study,the author combines the choice of subjects with career adaptability,and synthesizes a new concept----the subjects career adaptability,which is able to examine the comprehensive ability of middle school students to pay attention to their subjects or subject changes,self-confidence,curiosity and control in the future.This study takes middle school students in Beijing as the research object,and uses self-edited subject career adaptability table as research tool.This study use statistics including SPSS,Mplus and other statistical software,comprehensive analysis of variance,t-square test,cluster analysis,correlation analysis,regression analytical methods and so on to quantitatively study the subjects career adaptability of middle school students,to study the current situation of middle school students' subjects career adaptability in Beijing,to explore their influencing factors,and to propose an optimization strategy for middle school students' career education in Beijing.Statistical analysis of the data indicates that the study of the middle school students in Beijing has higher subjects career adaptability at a medium to upper level.Through the cluster analysis of the specific conditions of middle school students' subjects career adaptability,the middle school students in Beijing can be divided into four types: career advancement,career stability,lack of planning and career backwardness.The results of the difference analysis showed that the gender,grade,the location of the school,grades,whether they had received career education,and whether they are class cadres had a full or partial impact significant differences in the total dimensions and sub-dimensions of subjects career adaptability.Regression analysis shows that the scores of middle school students have a significant positive impact on the total dimensions of subject life adaptability and each sub-dimension;the level of the grades of middle school students has a partial significant negative impact on the total dimensions and sub-dimensions of subjects career adaptability.The gender of the middle school students,the location of the school,whether they are class cadres,and whether they have received career education have a partial significant impact on the total dimensions and sub-dimensions of subjects career adaptability.According to the research conclusions,this study proposes seven aspects of optimization strategies to improve the subjects career adaptability of middle school students in Beijing,including guiding middle school students to establish "uncertainty" career development values,fully popularizing career education in Beijing,expanding the grade range of career education,doing targeted counseling in different student categories,doing professional training of career counselors,implementing a diverse form of career education and encouraging middle school students to actively participate in practical activities.
