A Comparative Study Of MSW Education Program Between China And America

How to improve the quality of MSW education in China has become the focus of attention of many social workers and teachers.At present,many studies are focused on the macro field,few scholars pay attention to the micro level,and the study from the educational sociology to introduce the concept of curriculum text,trying to focus on MSW education training programs above,from the training Objectives,training direction,curriculum and other subtle aspects of the start,the use of comparative education research methods-compare four steps to compare the differences between China and the United States MSW training programs to better grasp and understand the current status of Chinese MSW education,Chinese future MSW education development direction to predict.The social work profession itself has the characteristics of fuzziness and strong comprehensive.Because of these characteristics lead to the goal of training is not clear,the direction of training schools,the difference between curriculum chaos,course resource allocation imbalance and other issues can be reflected in the MSW education in China and the United States.But because of the history of the development of US MSW is different in different face the same problems on the way of dealing with problems,coupled with the Chinese national characteristics,national conditions and political system are very large,the Sino US MSW development situation are quite different.This research will start from the perspective of various social studies,rooted in the training program of eight schools in the United States and China,to analyze the US MSW training program,and then analyze the differences between MSW education in China and the United states.
