Early childhood education is an integral part of basic education and an important stage for laying the foundation for a person's lifelong learning and comprehensive development.Early childhood education activities involve all aspects,but the activities related to cognitive development occupy a pivotal position.Reading activity,as an important way of children's cognitive development,gradually are attended by the young community and parents unprecedentedly.In recent years,with the rapid development of network technology and the popularity of various types of media,it will inevitably bring the purpose of education,educational content,educational means and organizational forms and other aspects of the impact,and the early childhood education is no exception.Augmented reality reading is generated under the background of information age and develop rapidly,which adds new vitality for the development of children's reading activities,in addition to play an important impact on completing make the children's reading effectively and successfully but also the impact for children cognitive,emotional and other psychological development can not be ignored.In view of the great advantage of augmented reality reading in children's reading activities,the research mainly adopts the research methods such as literature method,interview method,case analysis and quasi-experiment,and focuses on the influence of reading activities of augmented reality reading on the development of children 's cognitive ability.First of all,through the domestic and foreign literature combing,the purpose is to understand the status of early childhood reading activities and the application and development of the augmented reality reading,and summarize the value of children 's cognitive ability in reading activities based on augmented reality reading initially;secondly,on the basis of theoretical analysis,we interviewed the main teachers of the experimental kindergarten and observed some children's reading activities in order to further clarify the problems of early reading activities in the kindergarten and lay a solid foundation for practical applications of the augmented reality reading;then,on the basis of the design principle of the children's activities,the author designs the reading activities cases based on the mode of the children's reading activities and analyzes the application of the activity cases.and theoretically explores the effect of the reading activities based on augmented reality reading on the development of children 's cognitive ability;finally,according to the content of reading activities,the author designs the evaluation index of children's cognitive ability development and conducts quasi-experimental research to demonstrate whether the application of augmented reality reading can promote the development of children's cognitive ability.After the research mentioned above,the conclusion is that the reading activities based on augmented reality reading have a certain effect on the development of children's cognitive ability,which is manifested in the following aspects.First,reading activities based on the augmented reality reading stimulate children's reading interest to a large extent and promote children from unintentional attention to the development of intentional attention;Second,the activities that augmented reality reading applys to the children's reading can effectively promote the children 's ability to acquire and process the information of reading materials and enhance the effect of mechanical memory and meaningful memory effect(understanding the memory effect)of the children.Third,the application of augmented reality reading in children's reading activities is helpful to promote children's specific image thinking ability development,but the emphasis on logical thinking ability to enhance the effect is still not obvious.
