The Process Analysis Of Cultivating Community Self-organization

China's social structure had undergone great changes since the 1980 s.Especially in the late 1990 s,the state to promote community building and community development policies,with the "unit of people" to "community residents" change,the interests of members of the community affiliate divisions,gradually resulte in the interests associated with the community.The community has become a carrier to meet the new demands of diversified interests of different stakeholders,including the provision of clean and tidy community environment,maintain community policing,participate in the management of community public affairs and so on.Urban grassroots communities need to nurture community self-organization,enhance their participation in public affairs management and community awareness,mobilize community residents,equal consultation,take interactive cooperation,collective action,to meet their own interests and common needs,autonomy to solve community problems,to achieve community comprehensive management and residents' autonomy.This paper focuses on social workers to cultivate grassroots community residents self-organization process,using the case study method of qualitat ive research,the use of in-depth interviews and participation in observation and other methods.Around the service objectives and priorities for community self-organized training project of T Social Institution,timely describe the main line of the proc ess for community self-organization and cultivation.According to the natural logic of social workers' action process,the process of promoting the project is divided into three stages: June-August,social worker setting up second-hand landlord association action;September-October,social workers cultivating community volunteer team operation;November-December,social workers promoting their community volunteer team to participate in community governance.These three stages show the integrity o f the project's action process.The introduction part explains the research background,the research significance,as well as the literature review and theoretical perspective of community self-organization cultivation and construction.The final chapter of the paper is the conclusion and suggestion.On the basis of summing up the failure of second-hand landlord association and the success of community volunteer team,conclusions of social workers to develop community self-organization are: The government has some intervention in the community self-organization.Community leaders,social capital,resident needs are "three magic weapons" for social workers to cultivate self-organization;Social workers promoting community governance is based on the abilit y to enhance community self-organization.The corresponding countermeasures and suggestions put forward for the self-organization of grassroots community : Expand the institutional space,the government has appropriately reduced the intervention of socia l workers to nurture community self-organization;Social workers explore community leaders,and enhance their awareness and ability of community participation;Social workers should actively build a network of community relations,increase the stock of social capital;Social workers should be based on the needs of residents to promote community self-organization;Social workers should strengthen community self-organization capacity building.
