Study On The Population Distribution And Evolution Mechanism In Guizhou Province

The spatial distribution of the population is a specific manifestation of the process of population development in the geographical space,and is one of the important topics in the study of population geography.The research on the spatial distribution and evolution mechanism of population has important value in optimizing the distribution of population factors and resources,guiding the orderly flow of population,accelerating the construction of ecological civilization in China and the sustainable development of population,resources and environment.The paper takes demographics and geography as the starting point,and uses ArcGIS,GeoData and SPSS software to select the county population data of Guizhou province to study the static distribution characteristics of Guizhou's population;based on the data from the four time nodes of 2000,2005,2010 and 2015,The population center of gravity,population structure index,offset growth,and spatial autocorrelation methods study the dynamic evolution of the spatial distribution of population in Guizhou Province;the use of quantitative analysis methods such as principal component analysis,OLS analysis,and geographically weighted regression analysis combined with qualitative description to explore Guizhou Province The Spatial Mechanism and Driving Mechanism of the Evolution of Population Spatial Patterns.The main conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The spatial distribution of population in Guizhou Province presents the overall characteristics of “large-scale population in the northwest,west and central regions,and small population in the east and southeast”.The regional differences are large,the population density distribution is very different,the natural population growth rate slows down,and the regional mobility The phenomenon is frequent and the level of urbanization is significantly different.(2)The population center of gravity in Guizhou Province is basically concentrated in the middle of Guizhou Province,which corresponds to the spatial distribution pattern of the population.The disequilibrium index and the concentration index of the spatial distribution of the population continued to rise.The imbalance and concentration of the spatial distribution of the population continued to increase.The growth of the population shift was polarized and the phenomenon of population decentralization and agglomeration existed at the same time;the population density of the counties was spatially distributed.Autocorrelation.(3)The principal component analysis shows that economic factors,social factors,natural factors and historical basic factors all have an impact on the spatial distribution of population in Guizhou Province;OLS analysis shows that the economic and social factors have gradually increased the influence of the spatial distribution of population in Guizhou Province.The influence of factors and historical factors gradually decreased;geographically weighted regression analysis showed that economic factors had a significant positive impact on the county population distribution in Guizhou Province,and was the dominant factor in promoting the spatial distribution of population in Guizhou Province.Finally,based on the above conclusions,corresponding countermeasures are proposed to solve the existing problems,so as to provide reference for the construction of ecological civilization and sustainable development in Guizhou Province,and to make some prospects for future research directions.
