| With the opening of the world's first Confucius Institute in Seoul,has become a major force in learning Chinese.Nowadays,CPIK project in South Korea has entered the sixth year.With the development of CPIK,more and more elementary school students become the main force.However,due to the short time and limited resources,Chinese education in elementary schools is still facing challenges.2016,I become the Chinese teacher of Naepo Elementary School.During 11-month term,I got the chance to know the real situation about Chinese education in elementary school.This article through questionnaires,sampling interviews and other methods to explore the common problems in Chinese teaching in this area.The questionnaire mainly includes:communicating with Chungnam Department of Education,Naepo Elementary School and 13 CPIK teachers.Sampling interviews include:talk with some students in different grades to know more about their motivation;interview with parents and school teachers to know more about their requirements for Chinese class.Through the investigation of the elementary school in Chungnam,this article summed up the common problems,and the experience in teaching.It also put some suggestions for the Chinese teaching.Hoping the Chinese classes in this area will be better in the future. |
