The performance evaluation of university teachers is different from other organizations' performance evaluation,because of the particularity of University's function and the complexity of teachers' work.Especially as independent college and Private university,because of its peculiar system and mechanism,it makes teacher performance evaluation a very complicated work.This topic is based on an independent college in Yunnan province in the organization and management of the teacher performance evaluation for five years,and strive to combine the professional theory and work practice,the theoretical practice of emphasis on analysis.The research scope is mainly the five-time third-party post performance evaluation of DY College's on-the-job teachers,based on the theory to third party evaluation,360-degree performance evaluation,Key performance indicators(KPI),management by objectives(MBO)and stakeholder,through combing the theoretical research on the performance evaluation of university teachers by domestic scholars,and drawing lessons from the practical experience of performance evaluation in the United States and America.To find out the existing problems and reasons of performance evaluation system,and put forward corresponding measures.The practical exploration of DY College's performance evaluation is a further test on the theory of performance evaluation,whether the index is scientific,reasonable and impartial.At present,the introduction of third-party assessment institutions to the university teachers performance evaluation,combined with the DY college system Design Index system,and the actual implementation of the evaluation results,and the interests of teachers are all linked to the relatively rare,most of the domestic are in the theoretical discussion,lack of practical experience.This article is a breakthrough in practice,is to the existing performance evaluation theory further extension and expansion,is conducive to the promotion of university personnel Management system and performance appraisal reform and development.This paper holds that the scientific objective and impartial evaluation system is the propeller to improve the teaching staff and the quality of college.According to the college's strategic goal,to develop the development-oriented evaluation index whichaccords with the characteristics of the university,to help the staff to understand the goals and needs of the college,to plan the personal development path,and to improve the work performance through the performance evaluation,and to promote the achievement of the college goals.
