Research On The Application Of Linxia Local Geography Course Resources In Geography Teaching In High School

Local geographical curriculum resources can integrate geographical knowledge into students' realities.When they were utilized in general teaching effectively,students' skills to grasp knowledge will not only be promoted,their spirit to be unity and cooperation will be also can cultivated;moreover,students' emotions to favourate their hometown and motherland will also be enhanced.Furthermore,effective utilization of the Local geographical curriculum resources can helps teachers to improve professional accomplishment,change their teaching methods,which will bring mutual benefits to the goal of teaching.Therefore,it is extremely important to apply local geographical curriculum resources in geography teaching.However,because of economic backwardness,area inhabited,geographical teachers shortage,and low teachers' professional quality in LinXia,local geography curriculum resources were not developed and utilized.Many teachers have learned new concept and try to use it in rural land,although their experience can support the teaching to some degree,the science of teaching cannot be ensured.The special natural and social background in Linxia mean the abundant local geographical resources,if these resources were embedded in general geographical teaching,the shortage of educational resources in Linxia will be made up.From this point of view,this paper focuses on the application of Linxia geographical curriculum resources in high school geography teaching,and explores its theoretical and practical significance.According to literature review,general situation of local geography teaching was learned,analyses the local geography resources in Linxia through literature research and teaching experience,sorts out the main contents of natural and human geography curriculum resources in Linxia,expounds the principles of the application of local geography curriculum resources,and puts forward two ways of application in classroom teaching and extracurricular practice activities,in classroom teaching.Through introducing new lessons,compiling typical cases and assigning homework strategies to carry out teaching;in extracurricular practice,through the organization of visits,surveys,field visits to carry out local geographic activities.Taking Linxia as an example,combined with the textbook of People's Education Press,the teaching methods of situational teaching,inquiry teaching,case teaching and inquiry learning are used to present specific teaching examples.By observing students' reaction in teaching activities,the effect,shortcomings and improvement of the application of local curriculum resources are reflected.On this foundation,in order to apply local geography curriculum resources in high school geography teaching more effectively,several suggestions are put forward: strengthening the construction of teachers and training of local geography teaching;paying attention to the primary and secondary status of local geography curriculum resources;paying attention to the main status and performance evaluation of students;paying attention to geographical practice activities,building local geography teaching practice base;multi-channel.Tao acquires local geography curriculum resources and establishes local geography curriculum resource bank.I hope to provide some reference teaching methods and suggestions for Linxia frontline geography teachers in local geography teaching.
