Oral history has become an important new branch of history.The research and practice of oral history theory are constantly enriched,laying a good foundation for the application of oral history to history teaching.Oral history has enriched the types of historical materials and increased the selection of teachers' historical materials.In addition,due to the popularity of oral historical materials,it is easy for students to understand history,which can shorten the distance between history and students,and stimulate students' interests in learning history.Applying oral history materials to high school history teaching is in line with the concepts and requirements of the new curriculum reform,which can highlight the main position of students in learning,help students develop the core literacy of history subjects,and help students become "all-round development people."This paper classifies the oral history materials and summarizes the characteristics of oral history,such as vividness,popularity diversity and so on.Then,from the perspective of the core literacy of history,the author expounds the significance of oral history in the history teaching of senior high school,including cultivating students' historical materialism?historical material literacy?students' historical interpretation ability and enhancing students' feelings of patriotism.And the focus is on how oral history is used in high school history teaching,taking the People's Education Edition "in the development of modern Chinese education " as an example.It mainly includes the acquisition of oral historical materials;the analysis of oral historical materials;and the use of oral historical materials in the teaching of high school history.Finally,based on the specific practice in classes,the questionnaires and interviewing results analysis of the students,and the interviewing analysis of the teachers,we can find out the problems existed in the application of oral history in senior high school history teaching,and to propose some suggestions.Applying oral history to history teaching is a useful attempt.For the time being,the application of oral history in the teaching of high school history is not sufficient.Based on this,the author believes that the full and proper use of oral historicalmaterials in the history teaching of high school will contribute to the comprehensive development of quality education.Based on the specific case,this study proposes that teachers should change the traditional teaching concept;supplement the relevant knowledge of oral history;improve the controlling force in the process of using oral history materials,and adopt historical materials that can attract students.Schools should add professional books related to oral history and make appropriate and reasonable class schedules.The author hopes to promote the use of oral history in the teaching of high school history.
