Social Work Involved In The Empowerment Of Minority Women Left Behind

Taking the Z town of Kangle County,Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture,Gansu Province as a sample,this study selects the special group of left-behind women in this area as the object of analysis,makes a useful discussion by examining their realistic situation,the problems faced and the actual needs,and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions by using the way of social work intervention.The present situation of their lives has been examined,because many of the women left behind in the family status is relatively low,lack of self-rational positioning,this positioning makes the left-behind women in the health care side of the existence of a tilt,so that the already small number of medical resources more inclined to children and in-laws and their husbands,As a result,this part of the left-behind women's non-heavy condition gradually aggravated or dragged into a chronic disease.Such a long and dreary rural life makes women more yearning for urban life,leaving the countryside more and more serious ideas,which reflects the exclusion and negation of their own identity by rural women,these negatives have a great impact on their physical and mental development.Therefore,it is urgent and necessary to help women to intervene in individual cases and to build a system of case intervention.The following is a description of three aspects: the living conditions and service needs of the women left behind in the town of Z were investigated,through entering the countryside,deep into the life production of the women left behind,a careful understanding of their marital feelings,health conditions and so on.Then the data collected are analyzed,and it is found that the self-identity of the women left behind is low,and there is a lack of love and self-protection in the life production,which includes the patriarchal thoughts in the countryside,the low level of their own education,the unequal economic status of the family,and the problems of religious belief.Using the theory of empowerment,this paper intervenes the problems faced by left-behind women in life,and its empowerment includes three levels of left-behind women,namely,personal,interpersonal and social participation,so as to arouse the advantages and unique resources of left-behind women themselves,and stimulate the initiative of left-behind women to solve their problems autonomously.And only hope is not the support of external forces.In this way,by giving left-behind women their own power,so that they become masters of their own lives,so that left-behind women to solve all kinds of difficult problems.
