This study uses hybrid research methods to closely observe the behaviors and strategies of class cadres in the daily life of classes in high school, and to deeply explore how the "elite class" of Chinese students response to the conflicts and contradictions encountered in the process of the three roles as cadre, student and member of subgroups, and how to develop and grow in the positions. As the "management" of the class, the class cadres are often served by the "good students" who have the best performance. Not only at the academic level, they also have an absolute advantage in organizations and social networks. But in the daily life of the school. It is difficult for class cadres to translate this resource advantage into the strong side of the power relationship.Instead, they often face the challenges of their multiple roles. The power conferred by the system not only means higher class status, but also means more responsibilities and obligations.Class cadres begin to learn how to adjust the way power strategies work to maintain their "good student" image.Based on the characteristics and differences among the cadres, the study discusses the dilemmas faced by different cadres in the class and the action strategies used in the response. From the perspective of micro politics and power, this essay finds that the cadres of the class select their sides because of the unstable authority. This study also points out the important role played by Renqing and Mianzi, revealing the structural factors. On the theoretical level, this study has made a breakthrough in traditional class research in terms of method and theory, from the overall structure of the class to the internal group relationship, which makes the study of class and students go further;on the other hand,it is conducive to breaking the adult-centrism inherent in the field of education using class cadres as the object. In the practical sense, the study of the cadres in the class is conducive to reaching a clearer understanding of the causes and processes of their behaviors, and the concern is also a reflection on the training processes of the elites in China.Furthermore, from the perspective of students,we can see how students gradually grow and develop under the dual pressure of micro-structure and macro-system in the school environment of the Chinese education system. This is not only conducive to rethinking the cultivation methods of elite students from the micro level, but also conducive to building and perfecting a diversified and individualized talent system in the future, and providing assistance for the development of education.
