With the development of education in China,the educational hardware environment in the western region of China has been greatly improved.The direction of development of education in the new era of the country has shifted from extension to connotation,from hardware to software,and the construction of a high-quality,professional and innovative teachers group has become the focus of China's new education work.In the process of urbanization in the new era of western China,the phenomenon of the withdrawal of schools in the countryside has enabled a large number of students and teachers from rural township middle schools to enter the county-level middle schools.Therefore,it is of great significance for the development of education that great importance to the work concerned with county-level middle school teachers in the vast western region of China is attached.However,in reality,the economic development of county towns in the western region is backward,the occupational attractiveness of middle school teachers in county towns is insufficient,and the level of teachers' occupational well-being is still not high.In the economically underdeveloped western region,this not only jeopardizes the physical and mental health and professional development of teachers,but also affects the stability of the teachers group and the development of education.It is of research significance and practical needs to study the increasing approaches of occupational well-being of county-level middle school teachers in the western region.Based on the author's many years of working experience in the middle school in Y County S Province in the western region of China,and the experience of many home and abroad teaching exchanges in other economically advanced areas in China and other countries,the author has launched an in-depth investigation and research on the objective situation of teachers' occupational well-being in the county-level middle schools in western China.First,using the literature review research method,combined with the characteristics of the county-level middle school teachers in western China,the operational definition of teachers' occupational well-being in this study is determined.The research in this paper has carried out an in-depth analysis of teachers' occupational well-being from four dimensions,including thesense of achievement in education and teaching,the satisfaction of management environment,the sense of professional identity and the sense of belonging to the region and organizations.Second,based on the four-dimensional operational definition,referred to the questionnaires of other scholars,the questionnaire on the occupational well-being of county-level middle school teachers in the western region was revised.In this study,two middle school teachers from the Y County S Province in the western region were selected as research objects,and questionnaires were distributed.Through the empirical quantitative research methods of statistical analysis,the status survey and analysis of occupational well-being of county-level middle school teachers in the western districts are revealed.Third,through in-depth interviews,observations,comparisons,etc.,combined with the conclusions of empirical quantitative research,using in-depth qualitative research methods to analyze the interview data in depth,to find out the causes of the lack of occupational well-being of the middle school teachers in the western region.Finally,from the perspectives of teacher professional development,school management,organizational care,policy support,etc.,to enhance of teachers' occupational well-being from four dimensions,including the sense of achievement in education and teaching,the satisfaction of management environment,the sense of professional identity and the sense of belonging to the region and organizations,three aspects of approaches are given as suggestions,including strengthening individual efforts,optimizing school management and to implement the country's policy.
