A Case-based Social Work Intervention Study Of Social Support For Families With Poverty Due To Illness

As one of the seven key actions to win the battle against poverty,healthy poverty alleviation is of great and far-reaching significance for China to ensure the completion of the task of poverty alleviation on schedule and the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.In terms of the characteristics of the current poor groups and the factors that contribute to poverty,illness is one of the most prominent factors that contribute to poverty,and it is also the "weakness" of people's livelihood that needs to be continuously addressed to win the battle against poverty.By the end of 2018,nearly 3 million poor families had been affected by illness in China,with a large base and many problems.Due to the loss of working ability or economic difficulties,most people were under great pressure in life,and there were widespread negative emotions such as self-abasement,anxiety and fear.Among them,some people have lost confidence in life because of their own experience,living environment and family economic ability.In recent years,under the government and the strong support from all walks of life,because of sickness poor family and its members living situation with a certain degree of ease,but more is still stay in the material support and other aspects,especially stimulate endogenous power,enhancing social support and improve the social support network and so on work slightly insufficient,lead to help form a single,limited impact.Due to the small variety,scale and generally low quality of social support of the families affected by illness,it is difficult to express the real needs of the families affected by disease,so it seriously affects their own life recovery.As a social worker,to solve the problem of food and clothing at a superficial level is not conducive to the smooth development of poverty alleviation.To enhance social support,then to go into their inner world at a deeper level and achieve qualitative change is the most realistic need.Therefore,in view of the above factors and problems,especially the problem of weak social support,we plan to solve them from the aspects of demand analysis,environmental improvement,resource link and self-efficacy improvement,so as to better implement thehealthy poverty alleviation and realize the poverty alleviation of poor families due to illness.This paper takes the poor family caused by illness in Y county Z of jilin city as an example to carry out targeted services through case work.Article mainly divides into five parts,the first part is the source of the selected topic,the research significance and review at home and abroad,the second part is relevant concept definition and theoretical basis,the third part describes the present situation of the county because of sickness poor family Y,the fourth part is the design and implementation of the whole case work,which is divided into eight intervention,including requirements analysis,relationship,environment,policy support,psychological counseling,self-efficacy,etc.,all aspects of multiple perspectives to enhance because of sickness poor family social support,improve the status of the service object has a good,have the confidence to return to normal life.In the end,social workers made a profound reflection and summary on the case intervention work of social support in poor families caused by illness.In a word,the application of case-work method in the research of social support for the sick poor family not only strengthens the function of social work in the field of poverty alleviation,but also accumulates good experience for the theory and practice of social work serving such groups.
