Research On Wang Fuzhi's Moral Education Thought

Wang Fuzhi was a famous thinker in the late Ming Dynasty,he had many insightful opinions about moral education,which are still of great value to the contemporary moral education.By collecting and analysing different literature,this paper is based on the current research on Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought,which attempts to clarify the influence of social background and various ideological theories on Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought,searching the enlightenment to contemporary moral education through further analyzes some special views about Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought.This paper consists of three main parts:Chapter one: the birth of Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought.First,this part explains the special social background of Wang Fuzhi's thought,including the sprout of capitalist economy,the development of ideology and culture,and the change of dynasties from Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty.Then,combining the influence of Confucius and Mencius' s theory on Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought,we can clarify the origin of Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought step by step.Chapter two: the main contents of Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought.In the first place,this part elaborates the philosophical basis of Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought,including his theory of human nature,the view of reason and desire,the view of righteousness and benefit and the view of knowing and doing.Secondly,it further analyzes Wang Fuzhi's moral education goal,moral principles and moral education methods.Chapter three: the evaluation and contemporary enlightenment of Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought.Due to the limitations of the times and classes,Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought had some over-absolute views.One is the suspicion of belittling moral theory from the view of knowing and doing,and the other is the over-emphasis on the role of moral education environment to moral education objects.However it still had a certain positive significance on the principles and methods of moral education.At the same time,the enlightenment of Wang Fuzhi's moral education thought to contemporary moral education is embodied in four aspects: cultivating people with lofty aspirations,comprehensively improving the level of teachers' moral education,fully respecting the status of moral education objects,and focus on strengthening the practice of moral education.
