This paper explores the compilation characteristics of the "Math at Home" column in three sets of elementary school mathematics textbooks: American My Math edition,HM Math edition and California edition.This paper USES the unified text analysis method to analyze the coding of the "Math at Home" column in the three sets of teaching materials,obtains the writing characteristics of each column,and finds the commonness of their writing characteristics.A stone from other hills may serve to polish the jade of this one,our country can learn from the American elementary school mathematics textbooks in the preparation of "Math at Home" column experience,for our elementary school mathematics textbooks similar to the preparation of "Math at Home" column to provide reference Suggestions.It is concluded from the text analysis of the three sets of teaching materials that the column of "Math at Home" is designed for parents to participate in students' mathematics learning,and it is a column that provides meaningful help for parents to participate in students' mathematics learning.The "Math at Home" column in the three sets of textbooks has commonness: 1.Frequency of occurrence,the "Math at Home" column only appears in the first and second grades of the three sets of textbooks,and basically appears in each lesson.2.The compilation intention of this column: "Math at Home" is introduced in every unit or chapter introduction of two sets of textbooks,California edition and HM Math edition.3.The content of single "Math at Home" column presents characteristics.This column appears at the bottom of the page,in a short,concise sentence or two.4.The activity place is basically at home,which is convenient for parents and students to complete the content of this column.5.In terms of the types of situations in the column,there is not much difference between the life situation and the non-life situation,and the life situation is more than the non-life situation,and the life situation in grade 1 to grade 2 decreases,while the non-life situation increases.6.In terms of activity types,the activities have various forms,mainly including "oral explanation and communication" and "hands-on operation" activities,supplemented by written calculations and mental arithmetic.The program pays attention to students' understanding of concepts,cultivation of hands-on operation ability and training of problem solving consciousness.7.In terms of the relationship between the "Math at Home" column and other columns,the "Math at Home" column is relatively independent.Based on the results of text analysis,a questionnaire survey was conducted among Chinese students,parents and teachers to investigate their opinions and Suggestions on the inclusion of "Math at Home" in Chinese primary school mathematics textbooks.The survey results show that most students,parents and teachers are willing to participate in the "Math at Home" column,hoping that the column can be included in the primary school mathematics textbooks and willing to implement.Based on the results of text analysis and investigation,this paper provides some Suggestions for the compilation of elementary school mathematics textbooks in China.2."Math at Home" column in the preparation,column position and icon should be fixed,the language should be short and clear,the form of column activities should be diverse and the location of the activity set in the home,the content of the appropriate focus on the life situation,can be set in the primary school phase of the column,but the frequency should appear once or twice a week.
