With the rapid development of higher education,the number of colleges and universities has gradually increased.Among them,the number of local colleges and universities accounts for about 95% of the number of colleges and universities nationwide,which is the main part of higher education institutions in China.In recent years,local colleges and universities have made huge demands for funds for their vigorous development,but local finances are difficult to support and the funding is weak.In order to maximize the benefits of limited funds,local colleges and universities should build a performance evaluation system to improve the level of capital utilization.The large number of local colleges and universities is the decisive factor affecting the development level of China's higher education.Studying the performance evaluation system of local colleges and universities can not only promote local colleges and universities to rationally optimize resource allocation,improve the efficiency of fund use,but also promote the theoretical research on the performance evaluation of colleges and universities in China.Development has certain practical and theoretical significance.Firstly,based on the research results of many scholars at home and abroad on the performance evaluation system of colleges and universities,it is found that most scholars do not conduct classified research on college performance evaluation.However,the types and levels of colleges and universities will have a greater impact on the performance evaluation results.Therefore,the research direction is drawn: the performance evaluation system of local colleges is constructed.Secondly,based on the relevant concepts of local colleges and universities and the performance evaluation theory of colleges and universities,the local college G university is selected as the case object,and the basic ideas of input and output are used.The process,output and benefit four levels selected 25 indicators to build the G university performance evaluation index system;then through the school's 2016-2018 performance evaluation index scores and overall performance level comparison,the school The school performance and various management activities are analyzed to obtain the research results: G University should combine local characteristics to run schools,mainly from increasing investment in talents,strengthening personnel training,accelerating the transformation of scientific research results and strengthening the management of assets and funds.Starting from all aspects,insisting on serving local development as a guide,improving the society Public satisfaction,and improve school performance levels.Based on the unique strategic development goals and characteristics of running schools,this paper selects G University as a case to construct a new local college performance evaluation index system,which provides reference for other local colleges.At the same time,the research conclusions help to improve the performance evaluation system of G University,and provide decision-making and reference basis for the school's operation and management,which has certain practical significance.
