The development of national fitness,so that sports as a healthy lifestyle,has become the requirements of the new era.As the country moves toward prosperity and prosperity,the development of sports must be coordinated,and school sports must not lag behind.At the junior high school stage,students have the second peak of physical development.All kinds of physical development and training of sports consciousness are in a golden period.Therefore,the investigation of the sports cognitive ability of junior high school students in urban and rural areas will help the implementation of the National fitness plan and provide support for the relevant policies formulated by the relevant departments;It is helpful for teachers to choose and design reasonable teaching content according to regional differences and individual differences;It is helpful for teachers to take student development as the center and make rational use of teaching methods and evaluation methods;It is helpful to understand the current situation of physical exercise in junior high school students,students 'interest points,stimulate students' interest in physical education,let them correctly understand physical education and develop their good physical ethics and the consciousness and autonomy of lifelong physical exercise.In this paper,students from 12 junior high schools in the city and countryside of Xingxian County are investigated,and scientific methods such as literature data method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,and mathematical statistics method are used.From four aspects: the cognition of the basic knowledge of sports,the cognition of the attitude of sports participation,the cognitionof sports skills,and the cognition of sports mental health and social adaptability.The cognitive ability of sports and health of middle school students in different gender,grade and area of xingxian city and countryside was investigated and analyzed.The results show that there are significant differences in students' knowledge of physical education and health in different gender,grade and area.1.In terms of the cognitive ability of basic sports knowledge,some students do not realize the importance of sports health care theory.The motivation to participate in sports is single,and the diversity of sports value is not recognized.In terms of the cognitive ability of sports participation attitude,some students are not very active in PE class.Not recognizing the importance of fitness programs;Single form of sports participation;I like only one type of sports.In terms of the cognitive ability of sports skills,among the sports that students like,ball games and track and field games are selected frequently,but some students do not have a high degree of mastery.Gymnastics,martial arts sports students overall master degree is not high.In the aspect of the cognitive ability of sports mental health and social adaptation,some students do not realize the importance of mental health and social adaptation.Some students do not have good will quality;Some students do not have good sportsmanship;Some students do not have the sense of teamwork.2.In terms of the cognitive ability of sports and health,the county students' economic base is relatively superior,and the township students' economic base is relatively weak.Therefore,the county students 'cognitive ability is higher than that of township students.The characters of urban and rural girls are relatively quiet and introverted,and the characters of urban and rural boys are relatively lively and active.Therefore,the cognitive ability of urban and rural boys is higher than that of urban and rural girls.Grade ninth students in urban and rural areas have relatively high sports cultural literacy,and grade seventh students have relatively low cultural literacy.Therefore,the cognitive ability of urban and rural ninth grade students is higher than that of eighth grade students,and the cognitive ability of eighth grade students is higher than that of seventh grade students.
