Analysis On The Moral Educational Value Of The Confucian Thought Of “Devotion And Understanding” To College Students

The report of the 19th national congress of the communist party of China(CPC)pointed out:"we must carry out the fundamental task of cultivating people with moral integrity and cultivate socialist builders and successors who are well developed morally,intellectually,physically and aesthetically." In the new era,it has become the new requirement of moral education for college students to carry out the basic task of cultivating morality and realize the all-round development of human beings.At present,although the moral education of college students in China has achieved fruitful results,there are still many deficiencies in the aspects of educational content,educational methods and evaluation methods.How to make up for the deficiency of the moral education of college students,and further implement the basic task of moral cultivation,is the focus of the current moral education of college students."Strengthening the education of excellent traditional Chinese culture is an important basis for carrying out the fundamental task of cultivating virtuous people," the ministry of education said.Confucianism is the mainstream of Chinese traditional culture and contains rich wisdom of moral education.As an important part of Confucianism,the Confucian self-cultivation thought of"heart and mind" focuses on the cultivation of people's mind and moral personality,and the essence of education contained in it has important theoretical and practical values for the moral education of college students.It is helpful to make up for the deficiency of college students' moral education and enhance the effectiveness of college students' moral education by drawing on the essence of Confucian "conscientious understanding".This article first to the Confucian "extra sense" thought connotation and the historical development of the comb,and from the viewpoint of historical materialism and dialectical materialism dialectical analysis,made clear the confucianist thought of this traditional mind theory,on this basis to find "with intellectual" cultivate one's morality education essence and the fit of the contemporary moral education;Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of college students' moral education,clarifies its existing achievements and shortcomings,and proves that it is feasible to introduce the essence of traditional Confucian education into contemporary education practice.Finally,aiming at the problems existing in the moral education of contemporary college students,the author draws on the value essence of the Confucian"heart and mind" self-cultivation thought and summarizes the ways and methods to improve the moral education of contemporary college students.
