Whether it is the "advanced understanding of the" double base " " in the "High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards" of the 2003 edition,or the "four bases" of the students'future development as proposed in the "curriculum standards" of the 2017 edition,the cul-tivation of "student computing skills" It is always the basic task of high school mathematics teaching.Recently "mathematical operation" has been further identified as one of the six core literacy of mathematics.However,in high school mathematics teaching,there is a phenomenon of emphasizing "mathematics problem-solving methods",lightly "calculating process",and one-sided understanding of mathematical operations.As a result,high school students' mathematical operation ability is generally not high.This article aims to investi-gate and understand the current situation of high school students 'mathematical operation ability,try to find ways to improve the teaching of high school mathematics operation,and make some efforts to improve students' mathematical operation ability.In the research,Literature research method was used to test investigation method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.Based on understanding the current situation of high school students' mathematical calculation ability and analyzing the factors that affect the cultivation of high school students' mathematical calculation ability,some targeted teaching was proposed.SuggestRegarding the current situation of high school students' mathematical calculation abil-ity,statistical analysis was performed on the test papers using data analysis software such as SPSS and EXCEL.The answers and problems of students in the test papers were sorted out.The high school students were comprehensively analyzed from the aspects of students,teachers,and teaching environment.Problems in mathematical operations:no good prob-lem-solving habits,not focusing on arithmetic skills;partial generalization,prob-lem-solving thinking is not strict;thinking set,ignoring hidden conditions;problem-solving steps are not standardized;failure to understand the meaning of the problem,Inaccurate questions lead to deviations in the answers;concepts are vague,and formulas and proper-ties are not accurately grasped;mathematical thought methods are not thoroughly grasped,and psychological difficulties are severeCombined with the test survey analysis and questionnaire survey analysis,the factors that affect the current situation of high school students' mathematical calculation ability are summarized as follows:(1)Student aspects:non-intellectual factors;weak memory of basic concepts,formulas,and rules;cognitive structure;mathematical thinking The method is not thorough;(2)teachers:insufficient attention to the cultivation of students 'mathematical operation ability;teachers' professional literacy is not strong;(3)teaching environment:junior and senior high school textbooks layout ignores content connection,and there is a"fault" of knowledge;Large curriculum capacity,unreasonable arrangement of curriculum teaching plans;irrational use of calculators;high school students' over-reliance on "search software".Finally,teaching suggestions for improving the cultivation of high school students'mathematical calculation ability are given:attach importance to the development of stu-dents' non-intelligence factors;strengthen the teaching of mathematical knowledge and the cultivation of computing skills;improve the mathematical cognitive structure of students and use teaching resources reasonably.
