Over 40 years of reform and opening up,China actively adapts to the needs of social development,constantly improve the vocational education and training system,export the main force of high-quality laborers for the society.tourism management as a characteristic specialty of secondary vocational school,under the background of rapid development of industry,how to train more specialized and high-quality professionals is an important subject of secondary vocational schools.Secondary vocational education as the starting point of diploma education in Tourism Management,study the current situation of students' career planning and explore improvement strategies,for stable tourism talent,It is of great practical significance to serve the reform and development of tourism profession.Therefore,this study takes three secondary vocational schools in Zhenjiang City as the case study.Based on the relevant software such as questionnaire stars,the collected questionnaire and interview data are imported layer by layer,and the six dimensions of career planning are concluded by summarizing the relevant literature analysis:self recognition,professional recognition,career recognition,career planning awareness,career planning objectives,job Career planning education.Then use SPSS software to carry out basic data analysis,dimensionality reduction analysis,single factor analysis of variance,and independent sample T test analysis on the data,and make full use of the advantages of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to fully grasp the education status and career planning of vocational tourism students problem.It also analyzes the different genders,grades,majors,segments,and areas of life of vocational tourism students to explore the impact of demographic characteristics on career planning.Finally,on the basis of data analysis,the problems existing in vocational tourism students are explored from the four perspectives of students,parents,schools,and society,and countermeasures and suggestions are given in combination with these problems.The specific research conclusions can be summarized as followsFirst,there are obvious cognitive differences among students majoring in tourism management.Through the analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaire and in-depth interviews with students,teachers and parents,the students show different levels in six dimensions of self-awareness,professional awareness,career planning awareness,career planning objectives,career planning education,and the differences are widespread and large.Second,there are misunderstandings in family education.Family education,as an enlightenment education for students,should always run through the entire life of the students.At this stage,many parents are still in the traditional and outdated ideas and can not extricate themselves,which affects their children's professional choices,employment direction and life goals.Third,the school career planning education needs to be improved.The school should draw a blueprint for students,not a uniform asphalt road.We need to develop a personalized,full-time career planning education system according to the characteristics of students.At present,secondary vocational schools lack the ability of overall planning in career planning,which needs leaders' attention and teachers' joint efforts.Fourth,society should be more tolerant to vocational students and tourism management majors.As the main force for exporting talents from the society,vocational students generally work at the grassroots level,but the attention and love they receive should be equal and kind.Secondly,with the vigorous development of the service industry,the tourism management profession needs to get rid of the old look and show it to the public with a new attitude.
