With the further development of the global tourism industry,tourism has become a permanent foundation industry in Yangzhou.The annual No.3 document from Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government has become the guiding policy of the city’s tourism industry development,which has drawn great public attention in the whole province and even the country.It is undoubtedly that new requirements are put forward for talent training of tourism management major in Yangzhou vocational schools.According to the survey,there are seven secondary vocational schools in Yangzhou with tourism management majors at present,which spread over all the counties and districts of Yangzhou.The enrollment of tourism management major in Yangzhou has a sustained growth in the past three years,which is also in line with the overall trend of tourism industry development in Yangzhou.Meanwhile,the integration of industry with education is a significant reform at vocational schools in the new era.It is also an important measure to comprehensively improve the teaching quality in vocational education,expand employment and entrepreneurship and promote local economic transformation and upgrade.Based on this,the study of integration of industry with education in the tourism management major of secondary vocational schools is not only a social need of tourism industry development in Yangzhou,but also an urgent appeal for vocational education development.That is to say,the result of this research has great theoretical meaning and practical value,for it is not only a response to the policies of vocational education,but also an exploration on talent training mode of tourism management major in vocational schools.Based on the careful analysis of the research background and reference of a large number of foreign and domestic literatures and materials,this paper sorts out and sums up the hot issue——integration of industry with education from the aspects of theoretical research and practical exploration.The research is based on the "stakeholder theory" first proposed by Stanford University in the United States and the "stakeholder management theory" put forward by Professor Freeman in the United States.It will take the tourism management specialty of secondary vocational schools in Yangzhou as the research object and do the research from the perspective of relevant benefit.The literature research method,the questionnaire survey method,the statistical method and the interview method are mainly used to make a deep research on the integration of industry with education of tourism management major of secondary vocational schools.In the process of the research,this paper firstly makes a questionnaire and an interview on the stakeholders in the integration of industry with education of tourism management specialty in Yangzhou secondary vocational schools,including direct stakeholders like the government,vocational schools,enterprises and indirect stakeholders like the teachers,masters,students.Next,it clarifies the current situations and major demands of stakeholders of tourism management specialty in Yangzhou City based on the survey data.Then,it analyzes the contradiction and conflict among all the stakeholders,that is the conflict between system construction and industry development,the conflict between corporate profits and education costs,the conflict between the need of double qualified teachers and their pay and status,the conflict between positive attitude and negative mechanism,which are the bottleneck constraints in the integration of industry with education of tourism management specialty in Yangzhou secondary vocational schools.This paper ascribes the problems from the perspective of relevant benefit.In the last part,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from five aspects to promote the deep integration of industry with education of tourism management major in Yangzhou secondary vocational schools.The five aspects are building a big pattern of integration of industry with education under the overall planning of the local governments;ensuring the group interests in the integration of industry with education with the help of the government’s regulation and support;achieving win-win symbiosis of interest groups after clarifying their respective interest demands;establishing long-term benefit mechanism to promote the reconstruction of personnel training mode and expanding industry media publicity to enhance the influence of interest groups.It is true that the research and practice of the integration of industry with education is a long-term and systematical project.There will be large quantities of fields to study from both theoretical side and practical side,like the pattern,approach and regulation.The author hopes to come up with a series of institutional arrangements suitable for regional integration of industry with education in the future research.And the behavior pattern of the integration of industry with education can be formed to accomplish a win-win future under the system restraint.
