Money concept,children's understanding,views and attitudes toward money,plays an important role in their physical and mental development.Left-behind children in rural areas,as the group by affected by family,school,society and others,are is even more important with the formation of money concept.However,partial lack of family education,lack of financial education,the trend of social joneses and other factors,maybe lead them to form unhealthy conceptual awareness of money,even maybe lead them astray.Therefore,it is very essential to teach them to develop positive money attitude and value.In this study,Qiu Yizhen's "Money Attitude Scale"in Elementary School Students is used as money attitude and value scale of left-in-hometown children in S and G city of Jiangxi province.Furthermore,conducting qualitative research by interview survey under the Grounded Theory.Major survey results are as follows:(1)Characteristics of left-behind children's money attitude:?the cognitive level of money is relatively low,tending not to agree with money value of emblematic and utility,and no negative point of view such as "money first" and others,but the negation of money also leads them have some ambivalence;?there exist highly obvious characteristics of retention and distrust,and no obvious characteristic of power,obsession and anxiety.(2)Difference analysis of variables:average score of the scale remains much difference on sex,grade,caring about the hardships of parents,borrowing habit,pocket money;which is show as,?power remains much difference on sex,grade,pocket money;?obsession remains much difference on sex,grade;?retention remains much difference on sex,grade,domestic economic conditions,pocket money;?distrust remains much difference on sex,domestic economic conditions,pocket money;?anxiety remains much difference on grade.(3)Current situation of money attitude towards left-behind children is lower than non-left-behind children.(4)By means of qualitative interviews to research and analyze,major factors contain family financial education in families and schools,rural environment and individual personality and behavior characteristics in this study.On the basis of survey results on both qualitative and quantitative analysis,policy proposals are mainly provided from family,school,society under the perspective of ideological education.
