With the economic development in China, the gap between urban areas and rural areas is further widening. The majority of peasants’ growingly increasing material and cultural needs cannot be met by only depending on land income. An increasing number of strong young labors in rural areas leave hometown and migrate for work. And meanwhile a large scale of left-behind children in rural areas appear unavoidably. Lack of raising by two parents causes that healthy growth of left-behind children in rural areas encounter a series of problems and dilemmas. Children are our country’s future, who undertake the task of the future development in China. How to enable left-behind children in rural areas to enjoy achievement of social development, and how to acquire development chance and social resource equal to other children during their growth is our issue that must be handled.Based on research data of left-behind children in No.13Middle School in Lanzhou, the article starts from the empirical research and examines and distinguishes left-behind children in rural areas by complying with the ideal of "raising problem, analyzing problem and solving problem", revolving the theme of left-behind children in rural areas, and using the ideal of combining questionnaire survey, field observation, interview and bibliography research. And the article concludes and reorganizes comprehensive and representative problems that left-behind children in rural areas confront, and proposes rectification measures and suggestions.The article includes4main parts and7chapters. Part one (including chapter1and chapter2) consists of research plan design and relevant theories, which explains research background, research goal and meaning, introduces research idea, confirms research method---the method by combining field research and bibliography information, and establishes theoretical framework of studying problems of left-behind children in rural areas, ensuring scientificity and normalization of subsequent researches. Part2(chapter3) takes the research subject----students in No.13Middle School in Lanzhou as example to present research result. And based on this, it combs and analyzes situations of left-behind children in rural areas from two aspects of study and life and eight subsidiary layers, drawing a conclusion about the most important factor that deeply affects left-behind children in rural areas. Meanwhile, in order to ensure research’s scientificity, the writer read large amount of documentation information about research on left-behind children in rural areas. Especially, it has beneficial supplement meaning to the reorganization of successful mode information of management of left-behind children in rural areas in China. Part3(chapter4)---Systematic analysis part seeks a breakthrough point of the best survival state for left-behind children in rural areas by analyzing important factors that affect left-behind children in rural areas---children, family, school and community. This part introduces the successful sample of management of left-behind children in rural areas into the article to make an analysis to seek generalized theory and method. Part4(chapter5) is the part of suggestion and countermeasure. By referring to much information, the writer concludes the successful experience and practice of work of left-behind children in rural areas at the present stage, and proposes strategy and suggestion of selecting suitable governing tools to confront problems of left-behind children in rural areas from the perspective of social management and under the guide of multiple-center governing theory and systematic theory. This part proposes basic principles and practicable plan for solving problems of left-behind children in rural areas by combining theoretical research and his practical experience. It is an innovative idea to solve this problem that the usage of multiple-center governing theory and concept of care system diversification agent cooperation for left-behind children in rural areas combine business of supporting senior citizen and business of caring left-behind children in rural areas to establish the new positions for surplus labors in rural areas employing at hometown, reducing quantity of left-behind children in rural areas.
