The phenomenon that the parents and children of migrant workers are separated from each other is caused by the rural surplus labor force going out to work. There are nearly 60 million left behind children in rural areas in China.Whether these left behind children can grow up healthily is not only related to the future and destiny of the left behind children and their families, but also has a significant impact on the future development of rural areas and the construction of a harmonious socialist society. This paper studies the management of left behind children from the perspective of home school cooperation, selects the left behind children in a county of Shandong Province as the research sample, describes the current situation of education and management of left behind children in rural areas on the basis of investigation and research, analyzes the outstanding problems and their causes, and discusses the strategies of home school cooperation to improve the education and management of left behind children in rural areas. The survey found that, from the perspective of home school cooperation, there are many problems in the education of left behind children in a county of Shandong Province, which are highlighted as follows: the level of home school cooperation is not high and systematic, the content of home school cooperation is poor, the rules and regulations of home school cooperation are not perfect, and the system of parent committee is not perfect. The essence of these problems is that,in the education of left behind children, there are problems of conflicting goals and poor connections between families and schools. In short, there is a lack of home school cooperation mechanism. The reasons for these problems are as follows: on the one hand, the school does not recognize the left behind children's personality properly;on the other hand, the teacher's enthusiasm is hit by the left behind children's family;on the other hand, the lack of resources affects the construction of parent committee;on the other hand, the teacher lacks the trust of the left behind children's parents;on the other hand, they lack the sense of cooperation with each other;class affairs restrict the content and methods of teachers' participation in home school cooperation In terms of parents, the internal factors include the lack of deep understanding of home school cooperation, the lack of clear understanding of self role, and the external factorsare the constraints of left behind children's parents'educational background, economic situation and family structure. In order to strengthen the education and management of left behind children,we must establish and improve the home school cooperative education mechanism for left behind children. Therefore,we must establish the concept of cooperative education, build a platform of home school cooperation, create a mechanism of cooperative education, improve the enthusiasm of both sides of home school cooperation, give full play to the basic role of family education, and also play to the full growth of the school in children More importantly,we must use the home school cooperative education platform, with the help of modern science and technology, multiagent participation and multi means to improve the effect of cooperative education in an all-round way.
