Rural hometown-remained children refer to those who age from 6 to 16, left in the household registration site and be taken care of by the custody of one of their parents or other guardians because one or both of their parents as migrant workers were unable to take care of them and leave them in the hometown. They are the products of the mass drive of the population and the limitation to the household register of city and country among the modernization of China. According to the fifth census result in the whole country , there are about 29 billion rural children under 14, and about 2.2 hundred million are rural hometown-remained children, most of them have social and psychological problems in absence of parents'guidance, care and education, as revealed in many of the past studies.This article focuses on the research of the problems of family education of " hometown-remained children ". Absence of one or both parents results in dozens of problems in their family educations. At the same time, the different kinds of guardians commissioned by parents result in the different kinds of problems in their family educations. This article classify the kinds of guardians like guard by grandpas, by the generation of their parents, by the generation of themselves , or by themselves. The other type of guard by one of their parents . From the start of guardians' types, this article analyzed the problems resulted from different types of guardians and gave the suggested solutions to the problems in the family educations of " hometown-remained children " in the fourth chapter of the paper according to the author's research results..
